OUR MISSION
Known as “Tinopolis” Llanelli was once filled with smoke stacks from the many tinplate works belching out smoke into the atmosphere. Our aim at TinWorks is to fill the atmosphere again, not with thick black smoke, but with a haze packed aroma of our unique blend of hops and malts. We feel that Llanelli’s beer scene needs to be brought up to the 21st century. Taking inspiration from the craft breweries from across the pond, we aim to forge American style beers with a Welsh twist. We hand craft beer that will quench the industrial thirst of Llanelli and beyond.
CELEBRATING OUR HERITAGE
As we’re based in South Wales, Llanelli, and if anyone knows anyone from this neck of the woods, you’ll already know that we are very proud of where we come from. Llanelli’s heritage is very close to all of us and we want to showcase this with all of our beers. We want to celebrate everything that has made Llanelli what it is, from Tinplate Works to the Llanelli Scarlets, local legends to innovations like the Stepney Wheel. We want to celebrate it all. That’s why our core range of beers are named after old Tinplate Works that were once the mainstay of Llanelli (you can read more about this in Our Beers). We also want to create speciality beers and all these will be named after Llanelli’s infamous past.
